Best time to visit
Mana Pools is a seasonal park, with access restricted during the rainy months from mid/end November to March. The best time to experience its magic is during the dry season, from late April to mid-November. While October and November bring intense heat and dryness, they also offer some of the most rewarding wildlife sightings. During this time, animals converge along the Zambezi floodplain, as well as at Kanga Pan and Chitake Spring—the only reliable water sources for miles. These concentrated gatherings provide incredible opportunities to witness Africa’s wildlife in its raw, untamed beauty.
