Bush School Adventures

Bush School Adventures

Every morning I’m blessed to receive 4 lovely inspirational messages from one of my guests. Last week I was sent this one and I thought it was just so fitting. I distinctly remember when I was a young girl my grandfather used to tell me that travel is one of the best forms of education that I could ever have, and I must say I was extremely blessed to have travelled extensively with my parents and grandparents during my younger years. I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting many different countries, experiencing different cultures, indulging in an amazing variety of culinary delights and interacting with so many lovely and inspiring people along the way, making life long friends.

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we all are capable of being adaptable, we’ve really had no choice – children have had to completely adjust to a year of online schooling from home, teachers adapting ways to educating their students online, parents looking for all the ways to keep their children active and engaged. It’s allowed us all to become more open minded and diverse. We’ve seen camps and lodges encouraging guests to stay with more long stay offers and providing WiFi connections which allows for children to continue their online learning from the bush or the beach – I mean why not – right? We’ve been presented with a unique opportunity to diversify our minds and our learnings -why not take it out to the bush and learn about the world that we live in?

Let’s take learning outside! Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity! Mara Bush Camp is offering a really amazing bush school adventure for children to enjoy an educational bush experience, and what better setting than the beautiful Masai Mara?  The Bush School Adventures is a 4-nights / 5-days Masai Mara educational itinerary. Below are details for what the children will learn while in Bush School.  Whilst the children are enjoying their ‘bush school’ with the in-house Maasai teachers, parents are free to enjoy the camp, relax or go out on game drives.  After all, it’s time for parents to take a break too!
